Ceremony of Revopoint-Shenzhen University

Donating 16 sets of high-precision POP 3D scanners to Shenzhen University, Revopoint Technologies contributes to fostering students’ thinking and inspiring their creativity.

At 10:00 am on November 10th, in the Zhiyi Building, Canghai Campus of Shenzhen University, Revopoint 3D Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. donated 16 sets of high-resolution POP 3D scanners. Professor Wang Fangliang, deputy director of the Art Department of Shenzhen University and director of the Provincial Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Art Design, accepted the donation on behalf of the Department.

The POP 3D scanner could help the design students quickly transform their thoughts into actual design works, empower the design process and inspire students’ creativity.

Revopoint 3D Technology and Shenzhen University jointly established a laboratory to research three-dimensional reverse engineering and digital design and an internship base to promote industry-university-research exchanges and cultivate talents in related industries. It is reported that this batch of high-precision 3D scanners will soon be put into the teaching of Shenzhen University.

As the first-generation 3D scanner, the POP 3D scanner is independently developed by Revopoint 3D Technologies. It captures point cloud data of objects to generate fast 3D models. The design process has been greatly simplified, and designers’ work efficiency has been improved; that’s to say, the POP 3D scanner provides huge convenience for designers.

The high-precision 3D scanner from Revopoint has received a lot of popularity in overseas markets for its easy-to-use, high-efficiency, high-precision, and other excellent product experience. Many customers commented that Revopoint Technology’s scanner is the Game Changer in the 3D industry. It is especially spreading quickly among designers and engineers.

At the ceremony to present the donation to the Shenzhen University, Professor Wang Fangliang expresses, ” Glad that our students have the chance to reach the recent technology product, growing to innovative talents in the field. And It’s inspiring to see that the excellent enterprise behaves in a more socially responsible manner and is willing to help the young grow.  I am very grateful to Revopoint 3D Technology for its investment in education.”

“We will continue to do so, providing support for students, deeply carrying out scientific research cooperation with Shenzhen University. And we are committed to the vision that let 3D technology serve hundreds of industries and households so that everyone can benefit from 3D digital technology.” Ms. Vivian, representative of Revopoint Technology.

After the meeting, the two sides conducted detailed consultations on in-depth cooperation. Shenzhen University plans to promote and use 3D scanners in the design classes of the Department of Art. Revopoint Technology will offer technical support to share scanning tips of the POP 3D scanner. Also, Revopoint 3D technologies invites students and teachers in Shenzhen University to participate in corporate open day activities, providing cooperation opportunities related to product design.

The two parties will further strengthen cooperation in the future and carry out deeper communication to promote innovation in three-dimensional digital design.
